We have an interesting mix of activities including:
- Chatting about personal news, holidays, research done on a set topic etc.
- Translating poems, magazine and newspaper articles.
- Quizzes, games and grammar exercises (as appropriate)
- Watching short videos on aspects of grammar, or sentence building.
- Watching German films.
- Other suggestions from members.
- But, most important of all, a drink and biscuits ... anyone with a good sense of fun always welcome.
We are basically a self-teaching group and accept all levels of ability - including complete beginners - and we have our own WhatsApp Group to make arranging meetings easier.
This group would also very much appreciate the help of a German speaker, native or a retired teacher, on an occasional basis.
